ABOUT ME

I moved to beautiful Old Town Alexandria in 2003 and fell in love with the people as well as the rich history of the area.

Once I found hairdressing (or maybe it found me) very quickly I became excited by this wonderful industry and all the aspects that the culture offers to our community. In 2014 I became an educational adviser with Joico, which has afforded me the opportunity to connect, train, and work with some of the top hair artists from around the globe.

I participate yearly in the Mid-Atlantic fashion focus show, have worked the illustrious Behind the Chair hair show, and collaborated on photo shoots. I also travel to different salons and teach their stylists' color formulation, techniques, and styling tips.

A self proclaimed "Hair Nerd" I truly enjoy the mechanics and chemistry of what makes things work, as well as how it makes us feel. All of this has been a huge benefit to myself personally and to my guests that I'm so fortunate to have gotten to know through the years. I continue to seek knowledge and inspiration as technology and methods advance.
